Butterfingers was a finalist for this prestigious award recognising Aimee's continued strive for excellence by looking outside of the boundaries of the Isle of Man.

A trip to Northern Ireland provided Aimee with yet more awards taking home not only a Silver award for this amazing nature inspired cake, but also a Best in Class again!

Following on from the success at Cake International 2018, Aimee made her way to the world's biggest professional chef competition, Salon Culinaire International and achieved a Gold award again and also Best In Class!

In only the first year of entering, Aimee gained incredible international success with a Gold and a Silver in the Wedding Cake category.

Taking the Isle of Man to a national awards, Butterfingers were thrilled to be announced as a regional finalist for The Wedding Industry Awards! To be a finalist is a huge accolade!

Voted for entirely by the public, to gain the recognition of being part of the Best Business Guide is quite the achievement - and now to be recommended for a second year is incredible!

"I loved the cake, it was beautiful! I did send her a lot of images of cakes I liked and those I wasn’t such a fan of, so she knew what style to design. Neither Emmanuel or I like fruit cake, so we decided to have 3 flavours; lemon, victoria sponge and chocolate. It tasted bloody delicious!"

“Butterfingers created the most elegant 4 tier wedding cake for my big day. I asked for a traditional top tier which was a traditional brandy infused fruit cake. The other 3 tiers were vanilla and chocolate sponge with lovely buttercream fillings. The quilted icing and hand piped royal icing was really in-keeping with the the design spec I gave. The topper was from the East of India range and enabled my cake to stand out from others that had been created before. The flowers were added to match my theme and set the cake off fantastically. Butterfingers created my vision exactly how imagined it. I would recommend their services to many other brides to be as the unique creativity at butterfingers is amazing”

On the day she went one step further in getting our cake set up in the right place, and liaising with our venue directly in order to ensure that many of the details we had discussed in our conversations were fully in place before we arrived.
